Instrument details, technical indicators for smartphones and much more
A busy month in Trading 212 HQ, but it was worth the effort. A wide array of new improvements across the platform and its apps have answered your requests over the last months, keeping with our idea of constantly changing and advancing.
INSTRUMENT DETAILS INFO
Available after right-clicking on the trade box (usually placed on the left-hand side of the platform) this new group of information comes after many requests for an easier way to get to know the most important information about trading an instrument.
The window that appears contains an easy to understand visual representation of the working hours of the respective instrument, its minimum trade quantity, the type of spread (floating or fixed) – the exact figure if it’s fixed and the target spread if it’s floating. Sliding further down you have the margin, swap and type of contract, completing the formal data accompanying the selected instrument. With all this traders can now decide more quickly if the conditions for trading are suitable for them, as well as the exact times when they can open and close positions.
MARGIN AND SWAP DETAILS IN THE NEW ORDER WINDOW
Another addition that comes after requests from our traders – when opening a trade through the “new order” window you could choose the quantity, Take Profit and Stop Loss levels, but now we’ve added the margin and swap details of the trade. Their impact can now be seen when a quantity is entered, but before the trade is made. It’s displayed in a clear way and if need be, adjustments can be made before hitting the Sell or Buy button.
TECHNICAL INDICATORS FOR iOS AND ANDROID APPS
One of the most desired upgrades for those trading through smart devices is finally here, allowing for more informed decisions to be made with the help of visual indicators on the chart. We’ve included the full list of indicators.
Complimenting our Asian session, we’ve included stocks from Down Under, reflecting the only developed economy in the world that hasn’t had deflation in the last twenty years. The companies included are mainly in the financial area and we’re looking to add more.
White theme for iOS
Our default desktop theme is now available for the iOS app, giving a choice for those who prefer a lighter background.
